All clients require a skin allergy test at minimum 48hrs of maximum
Of 6 months before colour application
We cannot provide hair quotes or hair advice over the phone. This may only be done after hair assessment while having your consultation.
All our services include a consultation. Blow-dries and cuts are not included in colour prices, but are compulsory in Our salon to ensure your hair colour is perfect when you are leaving. We have a 48hr cancellation policy. Deposit is required to secure app.
ALLERGY TEST
All colour clients must be allergy tested with us in the previous 6 months or at minimum 48hrs prior to hair appointment. If you have had colour with us in the previous 6months you do not need to re-skin test. You can pop into the salon any time during opening hours for an allergy test, it’s free of charge and only take 15minutes.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We request a minimum of 48 hours notice of change, reschedule or cancellation to your appointment by phone call during salon open hours only. If we are closed and you wish to cancel please send an email to hello@thecolourbar.ie. If insufficient notice is given, you will lose your booking fee deposit plus charged any amount up to the value of your hair service booked. Cancellation fee’s up to the value of your booked hair service incl your deposit amount applies to all cancellations or date changes made within the 48hr cancellation. Cancellations made with less than 1 salon working day during extreme busy periods, which we have had to turn clients away will be charged the full price of the service booked or if an appointment is missed with no notice, a no show. We can not allow any future appointments unless you are a regular and have no history of no show. If appointments are cancelled or rescheduled regularly full pre payment will be required. Unfortunately we can not make exceptions to this policy for any reason.
DEPOSITS
Why do I need to pay booking fee deposit ? On average our colour appointments are booked into the salon for between 3.5hrs – 6hrs. When we receive a late cancellation or reschedule this can have a detrimental effect on our business as we only take a very limited appointments per day. Given that we are usually booked up weeks in advance and often are unable to fit clients in their first preferred appointment time due to existing appointment reservations. It can be hard to rebook such large appointment times at late notice , Over 48hrs notice gives us the best chance at rebooking the appointment. We request a booking fee deposit depending on your service to secure your appointment. The deposit fee request reflects the amount of time the appointment booking is securing. This is redeemable off the cost of your hair services on the day of your appointment and is refundable or movable up to 48hrs prior to your appointment time.
QUOTATIONS
Can not give an exact quote over the phone ? we will need to assess your hair before giving an exact quotation. Our receptionists although very knowledgeable are not expert stylist and can not tell the needs of your hair over the phone or in person. They can give a guide estimate for the services you have booked in for although bare in mind upon visual assessment by your stylist the services needed to achieve your desired look often changes which can effect the total quote.
